Here, we produce bespoke handbags, tote bags, and hats with precision, using natural wool, organic olive soap, and optimized water use. Jihane Boumediane is the CEO and Creative Director of jYANN, a company that combines innovation with traditional Moroccan crafts to preserve cultural heritage and support artisans’ growth. She is also the co-founding President of 1001 Artisans, a non-profit organization that promotes craftsmanship, creates digital opportunities for artisans, and enhances their skills through creative workshops, trainings and mentoring.
Jihane holds a Ph.D. in Management Studies, focusing on the role of innovation in the crafts sector, with consumer behavior at the heart of her research.
