Wedding season is right around the corner and the hype is real. From pre celebrations to post ceremony extravaganzas, the bride and her guests will flaunt their best attire in what’s sure to be a memorable event. Now, we know that the wedding rush is nothing to joke about and the struggle to find the perfect gown for the night could be more than a little stressful, so we’ve decided to scout the field and round up some of our favorite MENA based designers to inspire our newlyweds to be.

In the spirit of something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue we decided to seek some inspiration to help you have an incredible day.

The Dress

The main event is the bride in her dress. The bride is in the spotlight from the moment the ceremony starts until the end of the reception (and of course, during any festivities in between all of that) which necessitates having various looks throughout the day, or days.

Sandra Mansour has dropped her latest collection “Body of Light” and we are in complete awe of the dresses we’ve found.

You can never go wrong with lace, especially for the festivities the night before the big day. The Nebulous dress covers the bride to be in a long, laced gown that will keep her guests flitting between envy and amazement.

Another Sandra Mansour look that makes us want to say “I do” right away is the Sunbeam dress. A long, draped, embroidered tulle dress with tulle sleeves that speaks of Disney princesses on their wedding day.

The Bridesmaids

What is a bride without her best gals standing by her side? We love the idea of popping colors in a white setting, so we found the brightest yet elegant looks for our bridesmaids.

Nafsika Skourti’s collection offers a vast array of the same dress in different colors, such as the “Hybrid Dress” in bright red and Petroleum Blue. We love to see these colors together!

The Jewelry

A good personalized accessory is a must! From the simplest piece to the most eye-catching gem, we know that we need to add bling next to that wedding ring.

Nuun Jewels offers unique pieces that combine personal expressions of emotions and a flash of inspiration.

Jewelry worn on your wedding day doesn’t have to be new, it could be a simple déjà vu, given as a gift from friends or family.

The Shoes

Our favorite part of the whole bridal attire: the shoes! We have been strongly influenced by Carrie Bradshaw’s whole wedding drama when it comes to the shoes, and we do agree that they are the most important accessory to the dress.

Just like Ms. Bradshaw, we opted for blue heels… I mean we had to!

We decided to go for Andrea Wazen’s Franca Glitz in blue as they are embedded with Swarovski Crystals and feature a silky mesh surface. If you are looking for something simpler you can always style your feet with her “Kay” heels in baby blue.

The Getaway Car

To sum up a perfect day and end the celebrations with a big “vroom” worthy of an audience, we looked at vintage cars to drive our newlyweds into their future lives.

If you are looking for a car where you can hang balloons and tin cans, and add a “just married” sign sprayed on the trunk, then the Morris Minor convertible in baby blue is our favorite pick (and it matches with the shoes!).

If you are more into sports cars and are looking to cruise around the narrow roads of your getaway city then look no further than the Aston Martin DB6 Volante to set you up for the travels ahead. I mean look at Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton in their DB6 on their wedding day… true royalty.
