The FTA awards ceremony will now take place at year-end

In light of the travel restrictions imposed by various countries to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus, Fashion Trust Arabia has decided to postpone its 2021 awards ceremony from March until November 2021.

FTA Prize was created to support up-and-coming and established fashion designers in the region, an initiative that has been highly successful in its three years of existence. To continue upholding its mission and provide the best possible support to FTA Prize finalists and winners, the non-profit organization has decided to hold its awards ceremony later in November, at a time when COVID-19 restrictions will hopefully have been lifted, and FTA Prize Judges, finalists and guests will be able to travel freely to attend the event in Doha, Qatar.

Until then, FTA will continue to highlight the best of fashion from the MENA region through its FTA Pulse platform, with news, information, interviews and trend reports, shedding light on the region’s very best talents and creatives.
